RETIREMENT PLANS

Managed Account Program

Managed Account Program

At American Trust, we strive to personalize retirement success through a managed account program. We look at portfolio management as a fiduciary function. Our Managed Account Program (MAP) is a “defined goal” account management system that creates an actuarially valid target income for each participant, then manages to that target. The income target is based on a very robust set of data, including any supplemental information the employee provides. As markets and life change, so do the targets, the account balance, the funded status and the required savings rate. Our business is built on a foundation of thoughtful client relationships.

American Trust’s technology is designed to accommodate a retirement plan’s existing investment lineup and 3(38) Investment Manager. The core logic may be applied to investment lineups seeking to achieve a Target Rate of Return or an Expected Rate of Return.
